Refund Policy

Notification in respect of cancellation and or refund:

  • How do I can cancel my car rental booking?

    The Insurer / Renter must notify us formally, in writing, of any cancellation due (at most) 24-hours prior to collection and/or delivery of the rental vehicle.

    NOTE:  For all rentals in peak season, i.e. 10 December – 10 January, 50 % of the value of the rental, where the reservation is cancelled 7 days before the reserved out date.  Cancellation fees within 7-days to prior check-out & no show are 100 % of the value of the rental.

  • How do I send my car rental cancellation notification?

    Formal notice from renter of cancellation must be addressed to bookings@empirefleet.co.za

  • When will I be refunded for my car rental cancellation?

    On receipt of the formal notice of cancellation, the rental company will have 7 – 10 working days, to process the refund.

  • When am I charged a cancellation fee for my car rental booking?

    If a booking is cancelled within 24-hours from pick-up date, the renter will be charged R200 cancelation fee.
